 The program has been created as general application for security hybrid platforms functioning at the same time with wireless and wired IP webcams, TV-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the identical look and controls on the local and remote computers. Users view MPEG coded video and have complete management of the program using net that surveillance station can be operated without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular composition significantly increases reliability because all units proceed as autonomous applications. If one module stops working, other modules continue running. For instance if the `capture` module fails, `watchdog` starts over it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing video using a `playback` unit. The program makes `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by motion, human face recognition, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on remote workstation via Web interface. The program performs synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple webcams simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
