Scanpst 2010 is a utility offered by Microsoft to repair MS Outlook to scan and repair damaged PST files. This tool however is only effective in fixing minor cases of corruption. Outlook PST files gat corrupt due to several factors like increase in size limit, software or hardware failure, PST header corruption, media corruption, virus attacks, and system based errors.
